Denmark and it´s capital have a moderate climate with four distinctive season which differ in temperature, especially winter. Average high of 25°c and lows of -4°c makes Denmark's climate is in many ways similar to the one of Great Britain. Due to the low rise and small size of the country, it´s climate does not vary much throughout the country. The location of the country causes humidity to sometimes be high, causing the high of winter to feel colder than indicated by the thermometer.
Summers in Copenhagen are wonderful with comfortable temperatures, May-September is the perfect time to visit the capital.
During the high of winter November-February, it´s likely to experience cold weather, often with some wind. Snow is likely to fall but usually does not last for long.
