A symbol for Copenhagen with multi colored houses, Nyhavn is a nice little area by the harbor where tourists and locals alike go for a relaxing time by the water. The pedestrian streets are filled with restaurants with tables outside and small shops can be found in the side streets. In good weather over the summer time Nyhavn is usually a very busy place, sometimes with live music and art act performed on the streets.

Boat trips are available in open boats to go and see the Copenhagen harbor and it´s canals that can be found in several part of the city. Tickets can be bought at Nyhavn where the boats usually depart from.

There is a wonderful little ice-cream shop on a corner in Nyhavn that we highly recommend. It´s located on the corner of Nyhavn and Toldbodegade.
