Tony´s Overview

Tony’s is an American-Italian restaurant on Havnegade, near the wine and dine complex Custom House, and the venue got its name from the restaurant in the famous Walt Disney movie ”The Lady and the Tramp”. The two owners Anders Aagaard Jensen and Jan Christian Jensen also run Tony’s two sisters, the French-inspired restaurants Madklubben and Den Anden.

Tony’s opened in June 2009 and is a new member of the gastronomic scene in Copenhagen, offering tasty, quality food at inexpensive prices. The cozy restaurant with plastic designer chairs, light wooden tables, soft lighting, candles and cartoons is perfect for families and for everyone not looking for elegant dining, but an informal, casual meal of great Italian food served by friendly and attentive staff. The relaxed ambience and the ”The Lady and the Tramp” theme make you feel well and at ease, and you leave the place with a full stomach – the food is excellent and the portions are generous.

The Italian New York style cuisine offers tasty pasta dishes American style, such as the one in the movie, with Meatballs and Spaghetti, great salads and more classic courses like Vitello Tonnato, Risotto Primavera and the delicious dessert Panna Cotta. The wine list at Tony’s consists of American and Italian wines.

It is possible to reserve a room for private dining, with seats for 14 guest.

Apart from having the best pumpkin soup I've ever eaten at this place, the service was excellent, good wine, and great place. I was dining by myself and was made feel very welcome and would certainly recommend Tony's to other visitors to Copenhagen.
